Schoolfees paid
The most important I can do for my "grandchildren" is to see that they get good education. Fairy's and Rohan's parents do not earn very much, so I have supported them for many years. Last week I sent them money by Western Union. No I just got an SMS that the school and examination fees are paid. So now Fairy can go through her examinations! (It's a tough school system over there - "pluggskola" would be the Swedish word.)
The new ambassador has arrived. So far, I have been rather occupied, so I just sent one singel e-mail. So far, no answer ... 17.50 [kommentar]

Fairy's dance was a success
India's Republic Day is on January 26, so I was mistaken. But Fairy told me in telephone that here dancing was a success, and that she was in "every newspaper". Her cousin Tabna also danced on the stage.
I have 8 "grandchildren" in Bhopal: Fairy 15 who I met when she was 1, her brother Rohan 12, their cousins (girls) Tabna 12, Marlene 6, Yasfee and Maheen both 4, Diana one and then finally a boy 11 months. As I have no grandchildren in Sweden, I am very happy for these 8 children, and we love each others very much. I miss them - I really hope I will be allowed to visit them! 14.35 [kommentar]
