Fairy's dance was a success
India's Republic Day is on January 26, so I was mistaken. But Fairy told me in telephone that here dancing was a success, and that she was in "every newspaper". Her cousin Tabna also danced on the stage.
I have 8 "grandchildren" in Bhopal: Fairy 15 who I met when she was 1, her brother Rohan 12, their cousins (girls) Tabna 12, Marlene 6, Yasfee and Maheen both 4, Diana one and then finally a boy 11 months. As I have no grandchildren in Sweden, I am very happy for these 8 children, and we love each others very much. I miss them - I really hope I will be allowed to visit them! 14.35 [kommentar]

My "granddaughter" will dance at Republic Day
Yesterday I talked to Fairy, my 15 year old "granddaughter" from Bhopal. We became very close to each others during the five weeks she spent here with me last June. On January 21st, the Republic Day, she and her cousin will perform, together with many other schoolchildren, at a big field, with a huge audience around. Fairy is going to be in the middle, she will be leading the dances. She will also sing. She is very proud and very nervous. How I wish I could be there! But it is not possible, because I do not get my visa.

The Ambassador has left
Still no response on e-mails to the embassy. Today, after waitig some hours to get a time for appointment, I was told that the ambassador has left, and that a new one is coming in three weeks time. Maybe it will be easier to talk to him.
Now and then I have a short telephone call with my 15 year old "granddaughter". She is the only one who talks English good enough for a telephone call. But she cannot really tell me how the situation is, economically or mentally. We are all longing for each others. But I cannot go ... 23.14 [kommentar]
